We just started thinking about adding doubles. One strategy for remembering doubles is to think of certain pictures. One right shoe plus one left shoe equals two shoes.

Even and Odd Numbers:

We have been working on even and odd numbers. We are thinking about pairs and how to tell if a large number is even or odd. We will also be subatizing (looking at numbers and know how many are there without counting) and more and less.

Patterns:

We have worked on patterns. A pattern must repeat and be predictable. We are also learned about how to name a pattern and the core of a pattern.
